Sri Radha Raman Temple Vrindavan

The temple was established by Gopala Bhatta Goswami over 500 years ago. The deity in the temple is a self manifasted out of Shaligram. The samadhi of Gopala Bhatta Goswami is next to Radha Raman Temple and is in the same temple complex. The deity in the temple was established on the full moon day in April of 1542. The present day temple was built by Shah Behari Lal ji in 1826 and he was from Lucknow and it took around eight thousand rupees to construct the temple at that time.
Gopala Bhatta Goswami found twelve Shaligrama shilas in the famous Kali-Gandaki river of Nepal, after he dreams of Lord who instructed him to make a trip to Nepal. He bought the twelve Shaligram Shilas with him to Vrindavan and started worshiping them. Once a merchant came to him to offer clothes for his Shilas. However, he refused as they were not useful for him. As merchant insisted, he kept the clothes. One night he covered his Shilas and went to take a bath in holy river Yamuna. As he returned, he found that one of the Shaligram Shila had been turned into a deity.
So this was the history of the most ancient temple now if we talk about the timings of the temple:
Mangla Arati: Summer timings are 04:00 AM while in winters it is 05:30 AM.
Darshan: 08:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM
How to Reach
In order to reach one can hire taxi from Mathura. Mathura is nearest railway station to the temple. While by Air, one would have to come from New Delhi to the temple by Taxi as Indira Gandhi Airport in New Delhi is the nearest Airport.
